Liverpool Echo to host Badged Apprenticeship workshop
Liverpool Echo will be hosting a Badged Apprenticeship workshop which will see participants produce the newspaper’s front page. Maureen Sinclair of Clapperboard who are delivering the unique workshop entitled “Hold The Front Page” has confirmed that it will be taking place on location at the Liverpool Echo.

Apprentices applauded on Philharmonic stage
A group of apprentices with no musical background made their debut on the Philharmonic stage when they joined the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and the Manx Youth Orchestra in a special concert. This unique opportunity was one of the cultural opportunities available to Merseyside’s young people through Badged Apprenticeships.

A group of apprentices with no musical background are preparing to perform a concert at the Philharmonic Hall this weekend after completing four Badged Apprenticeship workshops on making music, organised by Greater Merseyside Learning Provider Federation and Liverpool Philharmonic.

The website for Capital of Culture Badged Apprenticeships goes live today. The site outlines the full range of cultural workshops available

12 cultural workshops confirmed
Organisers have confirmed that no less than 12 different exciting cultural workshops are now available FREE of charge through the Capital of Culture Badged Apprenticeships project.
The workshops are available to apprentices from Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral who are training in retail, tourism, hospitality or leisure.
