About the Project
Overview
As part of Liverpool's 2008 programme, the Capital of Culture Badged Apprenticeships project embraces the huge potential there is for cultural learning at present.
The project enables local apprentices training in
- retail
- tourism
- hospitality
- leisure
to access a range of exciting cultural workshops to enhance their skills.
Employers benefit as their young staff pick up a range of valuable business skills to apply to their job including:
- communication skills
- media skills
- cultural awareness

There are a range of workshops such as :
- Demystifying Modern Art at Tate Liverpool
- Making Music at the Liverpool Philharmonic
- Media Radio Day at Radio Merseyside
