Welcome

Badged Apprenticeships is a unique project that gives young people hands-on training in Liverpool's vibrant media and cultural industries.

Apprentices in retail, hospitality, tourism or leisure can choose from a range of FREE workshops run in conjunction with media and creative organisations such as BBC Radio Merseyside and the Liverpool Echo.

The Badged Apprenticeships project started in January 2008. Many young people have already been on one of the exciting workshops such as TV production and Radio. They've gained valuable media insight, creative skills and cultural awareness to put into practice in the workplace.

This website outlines the workshops on offer, who is eligible, and how local employers can benefit. There's also a chance to read feedback from young people who've already participated.
